Orient is one of Japan's three major watch manufacturers, and was founded in 1901 as a watch dealer as a Yoshida Watch Store.
In 1920, they built the Toyo Watch Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and began making their own watches in 1931, and became Oriental Watches in 1931, but as the war intensified, they temporarily stopped producing watches.
After the war, Tama Keiki Co., Ltd. resumed its factory in 1950, and the following year the mechanical wristwatch [Orient Star] was released. This became the current Orient.
Orient still has a high proportion of mechanical watches, with about 70% of all being mechanical watches, and has a reputation for mechanical watches.

[Regarding maintenance]
This watch was made over 50 years ago. You cannot expect the same precision as the current quartz watches. Please be aware that antique watches will always have a daily difference.

Please assume that daily differences may vary depending on the conditions of use.
It is also difficult to trace the history of overhauls and repairs.

Antique watches may have been replaced and the parts are not original. Therefore, repairs by the manufacturer are difficult.
Please purchase at your own risk.
Please maintain it at a nearby antique watch store. It can be used for a long time thanks to regular maintenance. We recommend maintenance every 3-4 years.

[Regarding repairs]
If the watch does not work when it arrives, please contact us within 2 days of arrival.
We will handle the service including repairs.
However, if the product is clearly malfunctioning during transportation, please consult the delivery company (damage to the windshield, needles flying, complete damage to the main unit, etc.), the product has been pulled and completely damaged before.
